According to Shan Hai Jing:

It is called the Fenghuang (Phoenix). Its head symbolizes virtue, wings represent justice, back embodies propriety, chest signifies benevolence, and abdomen denotes trustworthiness. This bird lives on nature’s bounty, singing and dancing. When it appears, peace reigns in the world.”

In Chinese culture, the Phoenix is a symbol of auspiciousness, representing spring, happiness, and harmony. In ancient times, it was also regarded as a royal totem.

Fraxx Design Philosophy

Inspired by the legendary Phoenix described in Shan Hai Jing, this pendant captures the essence of the “Phoenix Reborn from Fire,” infusing jewelry with profound meaning.

• The Phoenix undergoes fiery tribulation to achieve rebirth, symbolizing transformation, resilience, and eternal life.

To reflect the dramatic rebirth, the base of the pendant is crafted from 925 sterling silver, while the Phoenix itself is sculpted from red copper, emphasizing the striking visual of a Phoenix rising from flames. The design uses a hand-aged finish, with finely detailed feathers that bring the mythical creature to life.
